Oh, I did post something here, but now it’s gone. Let’s try again.
“We’ll just meet back here, and do it again - lookout!”
The Features are obviously on the edge of something great: the new EP, the Nashville Scene coverage, shows, renewed interest by fans. Keep up the great work, guys, and I look forward to further working with you when America decides to embrace musical genius.

I saw you guys at Bluecats last week, and out of the 15 or so shows I’ve seen, I have to say it was the best yet. You guys were definitely “on” and I was pleased to see how well Mark fit right in and meshed with the band. Thanks for playing all of the songs on the Contrast EP. I Will Wander and Wooden Heart are genius.
I wanted to hang around and tell you guys personally that I’m indescribably happy to see you back on the road with new material. Your fans are with you til the end.

Hey! Great set at Grimey’s… it looked more like a family reunion for you guys though. It was good to see the Featurettes, haha, the last time they were at a show was, when, Rcktwn two years ago? Keep up the great work, guys - and good luck in New York.
“On happy accident - two little rays of light.
Long as your with me, everything will be alright.”

If you can’t pick it up where you are, you can listen in on www.wmts.org. We’ll be talking about “Contrast” among other things. I just FINALLY got around to reading this article and I can’t say I’ve been as emotionally grasped as a reader since the last great book I read a few years ago. All I can say is that I’m proud of you guys and that we all love you more than ever.
Reading this I also asked myself once again, as I did during Slack’s cover at Mercy Lounge– has there ever been a more perfectly definitive song for the past 10 years of the Nashville music scene than “Thursday”?

While you always must put food on the table, I respect the heck out of these guys for sticking to their guns. It will pay off for them in the long run. Good for you guys.
How they are not more popular is beyond me. “Blow It Out” is catchy song that will not get old. I’m going to order “Contrast” today.
“Thursday” is a seriously amazing song. I downloaded it from the website about a year ago. It has the most listens on my iPod. I am not from Nashville and listen to a wide range of music. I regret not seeing them with Kings of Leon in Cleveland, ugh.

Gosh, this place shut down after the forum opened back up. It’s a little more organized over there, anyway.
